These once off 2-hour workshops provide a taster of the Irish language, amhráin Gaeilge | songs in Irish and sean nós dance, providing the learners with a unique, hands-on insight into Irish culture.
WORKSHOP IN IRISH CULTURE
Seána offers once off workshops and courses in sean nós dance to community groups and organisations through Irish, through English or bilingually. Recordings of steps taught in class provided to learners for practice.
SEAN NÓS CLASSES
Seána is a fluent Irish speaker and qualified Gaelscoil teacher offering workshops and courses in the Irish language. She designs classes with an emphasis on speaking and on pronunciation practice, with time also dedicated to grammar. Notes and sound recordings of course material provided to learners to help with pronunciation practice between classes.

When we first started the lessons, I was very self-conscious about answering questions but over the weeks my confidence grew.
I also met a great bunch of people and one of them that lives in the USA is going to come for a visit.

Sean Nós Dance Course 2019 (Kids & Adults)
Seána’s Teaching Experience
Seána has taught in many Gaelscoileanna (Irish medium schools) across Ireland; the Gaeltacht Quarter of West Belfast, the Connemara Gaeltacht and in Co. Wexford. Seána also has many years’ experience providing Irish language courses and grinds for all levels & age groups, both privately and as part of Conradh na Gaeilge.
Seána has been teaching the tin whistle for over 10 years. She founded the Enniscorthy Sean Nós Dance Group in 2018 with her weekly classes, who now have great fun performing at various local events. Seána’s students gathered to mark Summer Solstice 2019 on Enniscorthy Castle
rooftop, an evening long associated with ancient Ireland.
Seána shared the magic and joy of Irish music, song, and dance with the girls of Kasba Protection Home, Calcutta and patients of The Hope Foundation Hospital in Calcutta, India while on voluntary work in 2019, for which she received a Global Citizen Award.
